Trick or Treat at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Following the success of last year’s event, The Shops at Heavenly Village is hosting a Trick-or-Treat event for both kids and moms on October 31 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Heavenly Village is partnering with the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, the South Lake Tahoe Lodging Association, and Desolation Hotel for the fun event which is also featuring a $1000 costume contest.

Set to delight both children and adults alike, the event will feature:

- Over 50 candy stops by village businesses and local organizations.

- Fun activities like bounce houses, slides, and other family-friendly attractions.
- Entertainment including zombie DJs and live music performances.
- A special appearance by the South Lake Tahoe Fire and Police Departments, with firetrucks, candy, and stickers for the kids.

Desolation Hotel & Maggie’s are also participating in this year’s Halloween celebration and are confident it will be an unforgettable experience for the Tahoe community. A $1000 costume contest will take center stage at 6:30 pm on the main stage, offering an exciting lineup of categories for kids to showcase their costumes. And it’s not just for the little ones – moms can also join in the fun with the “Witches Walk,” a chance to show off their best Halloween outfits.
