Trick or Treat at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Following the success of last year’s event, The Shops at Heavenly Village is hosting a Trick-or-Treat event for both kids and moms on October 31 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Heavenly Village is partnering with the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, the South Lake Tahoe Lodging Association, and Desolation Hotel for the fun event which is also featuring a $1000 costume contest.
Set to delight both children and adults alike, the event will feature:
- Over 50 candy stops by village businesses and local organizations.
- Entertainment including zombie DJs and live music performances.
- A special appearance by the South Lake Tahoe Fire and Police Departments, with firetrucks, candy, and stickers for the kids.
“We are incredibly grateful to The Shops at Heavenly Village for hosting this event once again in 2024," said Tamara Wallace, president of the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. "It’s wonderful to see the village businesses come together for the community, and the Chamber is proud to support this tradition.”
Desolation Hotel & Maggie’s are also participating in this year’s Halloween celebration and are confident it will be an unforgettable experience for the Tahoe community. "We’re proud to be neighbors with Dreu and his amazing team at Heavenly Village, and we’re grateful for their hard work and dedication to making this a must-attend event every year," hotel staff said.
A $1000 costume contest will take center stage at 6:30 pm on the main stage, offering an exciting lineup of categories for kids to showcase their costumes. And it’s not just for the little ones – moms can also join in the fun with the “Witches Walk,” a chance to show off their best Halloween outfits.
