Fundraiser for South Lake Tahoe woman facing Stage IV cancer battle

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Local resident Nicole Marsel is going through some tough times again. In May of this year, the breast cancer that Nicole beat three years ago returned and metastasized to her entire liver, clavicular lymph node, and bones, she is now in Stage IV. Because of her recent diagnosis, Nicole took a medical leave from the Boys and Clubs of Western Nevada.

Friends of Nicole created a GoFundMe on her behalf and are now coordinating a fundraiser for her on Sunday, October 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Tahoe Aleworx at the Y in South Lake Tahoe.

SLT Events is collecting all the donations of raffle items or event sponsorships from local businesses and friends of Nicole. Anyone that is interested in contributing a raffle item or providing event sponsorship, can contact info@sltevents.com. A pick-up of the donation can be arranged prior to the event.
