COVID-19 cases for Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County and Alpine County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 22 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday in El Dorado County. The death of a resident from each El Dorado and Alpine counties was announced today.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 822 cases - +0 - The 14-day new case rate is 58 with 427 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3212 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 101 with 238 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 730 cases - +0 - The 14-day new case rate is 33 with 351 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 792 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 40 with 276 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2774 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 112 with 306 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2694 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 103 with 291 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 213 cases - (-1) - The 14-day new case rate is 8 with 77 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3437 cases - +4 - The 14-day new case rate is 74 with 245 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 970 - (-19). 490 additional negative test results - 19 assumed recoveries (13,880).

To date, 136 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There was one new death posted today, a female, age 65+ from Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rescue. The age and sex of the Alpine County resident who died was not released. To date, Alpine County has had 100 cases.

There are 10 (+2) hospitalized with 2 (+0) in the ICU. Of these patients, 8 are hospitalized at Marshall, 2 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 2 are in Barton, 0 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU bed in the county, 1 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 0 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
