Invasive species watercraft inspection stations to change operations starting Oct. 1

• Boats that require decontamination will be sent to the Meyers location (Cave Rock and Lake Forest boat ramps will not be able to perform any decontaminations).
• All wakeboard boats with ballast tank systems will need additional time to undergo mandatory decontamination and should plan to go to the Meyers location where those services are offered.
The seasons are changing! Beginning October 1, watercraft inspection stations will change locations and shift to a first-come, first-served basis. The appointment system will reopen in 2023.
October 1 through 16:
• AIS inspections and decontaminations will continue to be available at the Meyers, Calif. station Thursday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Boats that require decontamination will be sent to the Meyers location (Cave Rock and Lake Forest boat ramps will not be able to perform any decontaminations).

Beginning October 17:
• Inspections will be available only at the Lake Forest and Cave Rock boat ramps.
