The royalty will be riding in convertibles in the South Tahoe High Homecoming parade on Friday, October 7, at 4:30 p.m. Floats are making a comeback this year. The theme of the parade is "Disney Movies" and each class had their movies selected:
Freshmen - Monsters Inc.
Sophomores - The Avengers
Juniors - Toy Story
Seniors - Lilo and Stitch.
The school colors of blue and gold will be featured all during Spirit Week from October 3 - 10.
The parade is on Friday, Oct. 7. The parade will start at the Lake Tahoe Unified School District bus garage on Al Tahoe Boulevard at 4:30 p.m. There will be convertibles, fire trucks, floats, utility trucks, STHS Wrestling Team Bus, and homecoming royalty starting at this location. As the parade slowly makes its way down Lake Tahoe Boulevard, they will be joined by participating walking groups as it moves by Motel 6. The parade will conclude at STHS Viking Stadium.
