LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - The Lake Tahoe Documentary Film Festival is just days away! There is something for everybody during the three-day event, but what makes it even extra special are the screenings where the filmmakers will be present. There will also be chances to take a deeper dive into the stories and themes that shape their work during amazing panel events.
"The Lake Tahoe Documentary Film Festival hopes to warmly welcome filmmakers into our community, making the festival experience truly special," said Festival Director Michelle Ficara. "There’s nothing quite like attending a screening where you can watch a film and then hear directly from the creators afterward."
This will be an adventure-packed documentary film fest, spotlighting stories that light up the soul. Gathering community and filmmakers amidst the breathtaking beauty of Tahoe's natural wonderland.
To enjoy the Oct. 4-6 festival, the public can buy a pass or individual screening tickets. The all-access pass also includes special events like a welcome party, yoga, nighttime "Music, Marshmallows and Movie Makers," nature hike, and rooftop wrap-up party, plus the screenings of shorts and feature films.
