South Lake Tahoe Police looking for suspect in armed robbery of 7-11 midtown

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, an armed suspect entered the 7-11 store located at 2620 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe. The man brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.

The cashier was not injured during the event. The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) is investigating the case and is not releasing information about any cash that may have been stolen.

The subject wore a helmet, ski goggles, a black jacket, jeans, and black shoes with a white stripe and sole during the robbery. SLTPD detectives responded and worked with officers from the patrol division to secure the scene and process it for evidence.
