COVID-19 cases for Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 109 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday in El Dorado County.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 837 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 41 with 302 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3244 cases - +8 - The 14-day new case rate is 68 with 160 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 734 cases - +0 - The 14-day new case rate is 22 with 234 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 819 cases - +11 - The 14-day new case rate is 41 with 283 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2822 cases - +14 - The 14-day new case rate is 91 with 248 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2730 cases - +16 - The 14-day new case rate is 82 with 232 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 218 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 9 with 87 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3514 cases - +42 - The 14-day new case rate is 108 with 357 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 888 - (+2). 2,824 additional negative test results. 107 assumed recoveries (14,208) .

To date, 139 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There was one new death reported today: a woman from Greater Placerville aged 65+. Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals

There are 7 (-4) hospitalized with 6 (+3) in the ICU. Of these patients, 5 are hospitalized at Marshall, 2 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 2 are at Barton, 4 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there are 10 available ICU beds in the county, 4 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 6 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
