EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 8 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday in El Dorado County.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 842 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 37 with 273 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3247 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 69 with 162 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 735 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 19 with 202 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 822 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 42 with 290 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2829 cases - +7 - The 14-day new case rate is 91 with 248 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2732 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 76 with 215 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 218 cases - +0 - The 14-day new case rate is 8 with 77 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3519 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 108 with 357 per 100,000 residents.

To date, 141 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There no new deaths reported today. Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 7 (+1) hospitalized with 2 (+0) in the ICU. Of these patients, 6 are hospitalized at Marshall, 1 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 1 is at Barton, 1 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU bed in the county, 1 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 0 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
