COVID-19 cases for Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 76 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday in El Dorado County.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 846 cases - +4 - The 14-day new case rate is 38 with 280 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3257 cases - +10 - The 14-day new case rate is 73 with 172 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 737 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 18 with 191 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 826 cases - +4 - The 14-day new case rate is 46 with 318 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2850 cases - +21 - The 14-day new case rate is 102 with 279 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2737 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 69 with 195 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 220 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 10 with 96 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3542 cases - +23 - The 14-day new case rate is 124 with 410 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 815 - (+22). 535 additional negative test results. 54 assumed recoveries (14,386).

To date, 143 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were two new deaths reported today - A male from the Lake Tahoe Region age 65+, and a male from El Dorado Hills, 65+.

Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 6 (-1) hospitalized with 2 (+0) in the ICU. Of these patients, 5 are hospitalized at Marshall, 1 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 1 is at Barton, 1 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU bed in the county, 0 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 1 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
