COVID-19 cases for Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County and Douglas County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 45 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday in El Dorado County, and in the Quad County region there were 289 new cases this week.

El Dorado County

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 846 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 35 with 258 per 100,000 residents.

El Dorado Hills - 3257 cases - +8 - The 14-day new case rate is 71 with 167 per 100,000 residents.
Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 737 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 13 with 138 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 826 cases - +4 - The 14-day new case rate is 46 with 318 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2850 cases - +8 - The 14-day new case rate is 102 with 279 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2737 cases - +8 - The 14-day new case rate is 66 with 187 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 220 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 10 with 96 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3542 cases - +11 - The 14-day new case rate is 129 with 426 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 835 - (+20). 932 additional negative test results. 25 assumed recoveries (14,411).

To date, 143 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were no new deaths reported today.

Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 8 (+2) hospitalized with 3 (+1) in the ICU. Of these patients, 7 are hospitalized at Marshall, 1 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 1 is at Barton, 2 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU bed in the county, 0 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 1 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
