Learn how renter’s insurance can help residents in free virtual class

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - With the recent evacuations due to the Caldor Fire, it's clearer than ever that everyone needs insurance, not just homeowners.

Did you know that renters may file to receive financial assistance with evacuation expenses such as lodging and food/meals? This is in addition to protecting all of your personal belongings in the event of loss due to a catastrophic event like a wildfire. The South Tahoe Association of Realtors is holding a free Renters Insurance class on Zoom on Tuesday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. The class will be given by Erik Watada of State Farm Insurance.
