North Tahoe Fire invites stakeholders to wildfire plan update meeting

The public is invited to the North Tahoe Public Stakeholder Meeting for the Lake Tahoe Basin Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

As part of the ongoing efforts of North Tahoe Fire and the Tahoe Resource Conservation District to enhance the safety and resilience of our community, they are actively updating the 2015 CWPP. This update is essential in ensuring that their wildfire prevention and mitigation strategies are aligned with the specific needs and values of the community.

This meeting presents a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to actively contribute their input, questions, and concerns regarding the CWPP. The plan is a crucial document that outlines our community's strategy for mitigating wildfire risks and strengthening our preparedness and response efforts.
