COVID-19 cases for South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been two new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday in El Dorado County.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 857 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 33 with 243 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3289 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 65 with 153 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 745 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 11 with 117 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 841 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 41 with 283 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2885 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 90 with 246 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2771 cases - +4 - The 14-day new case rate is 65 with 184 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 225 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 10 with 96 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3591 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 140 with 463 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 778 - (-35), 457 additional negative test results, 37 assumed recoveries (14,568).

To date, 149 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were two new deaths reported today: a male, 18-49 from El Dorado Hills, and a male from Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rescue.

Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 11 (+0) hospitalized with 7 (+1) in the ICU. Of these patients, 7 are hospitalized at Marshall, 4 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 4 are at Barton, 3 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU beds in the county, 0 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 1 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
