SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Clif. - The Marcella Foundation of South Lake Tahoe has introduced a new way to give back to the community, their Volunteer Network.

Everyone is invited to be a part of this exciting new opportunity. The Marcella Foundation believes that volunteers play a pivotal role in creating positive change and strengthening the local community. Whether you're passionate about mentoring, supporting literacy, packing food bags, or lending your tech skills, there's a place for you in the volunteer network.

What is the Marcella Foundation Volunteer Network?

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Marcella Foundation. Their vision is to create a network of individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in South Lake Tahoe and the lives of those who call this beautiful place home. By signing up to become a Marcella Foundation volunteer, you're choosing to be a part of a community committed to positive change.

How does it work?

Joining our volunteer network is easy and flexible. When you sign up, you'll receive periodic emails with volunteer opportunities as they arise. These may be volunteer opportunities with the Marcella Foundation or some of our partner organizations. You can choose to participate in events and activities that align with your interests and availability. There's absolutely no pressure - it's all about finding the right fit for you.

What type of projects can I volunteer for?

There is a range of exciting projects that you can be a part of immediately.

BookMode: Help prep and distribute Kindles to 2nd graders at Sierra House Elementary School in November

Momentum Mentors: Help teens develop and set Momentum Goals after Momentum documentary screenings

Website/Tech: Several of their partner organizations need specific help with websites and engineering. If you are skilled in those areas and want to work with Marcella Founder Sean Fannon to donate your tech skills for a good cause, please reach out.

They are also constantly aware of other volunteer needs in our community, and we're eager to connect you with opportunities that match your passions.

What will I be doing?

Your volunteer experience will be tailored to your skills and interests. You can participate in single events or choose to volunteer with us on a regular basis. Our goal is to connect your experience and passion to community needs, ensuring that your volunteer efforts are both meaningful and fulfilling.
