Letter: Former mayor supports Laine, Cefalu, Jinkens and Wallace

Although I am no longer a City of South Lake Tahoe resident, I was one for 53 years. I do care about local elections and who is best for the community. I’m still a property owner and have family and friends in So. Lake Tahoe. The community will always be near and dear to my heart. I still care deeply for what is best for So. Lake Tahoe. The upcoming elections for El Dorado County Supervisor and South Lake Tahoe City Council are important.

I wanted to offer my support and endorsement to four qualified people running for office in this November’s election. I have known and worked with each of these candidates over the past 20+ years in both a professional and personal capacity. In my opinion, each one of them will do the best job as your elected official(s), doing so with honor, strong character, and integrity. They will represent you as the most experienced, and respectful, and will do so in a professional manner. It is important to note they do not have conflicts or personal agendas. They genuinely care about the community.

I highly recommend and endorse the following candidates. I hope you will support them and vote for them.

El Dorado County Supervisor-

*Brooke Laine

So. Lake Tahoe City Council (in alphabetical order) candidates-

* Joby Cefalu
* David Jinkens
* Tamara Wallace

Respectfully,

- Kathay Lovell
Former, Mayor City of So. Lake Tahoe
