COVID-19 cases for South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

There have been 28 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday in El Dorado County. All other counties around Lake Tahoe are reported once a week, on Fridays.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 870 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 32 with 236 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3315 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 68 with 160 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 757 cases - +0 - The 14-day new case rate is 22 with 234 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 852 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 32 with 221 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2912 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 78 with 213 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2797 cases - +10 - The 14-day new case rate is 63 with 178 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 230 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 12 with 116 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3626 cases - +6 - The 14-day new case rate is 114 with 377 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 805 - (-12), 346 additional negative test results, 40 assumed recoveries (14,738).

To date, 149 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were no new deaths reported today.

Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 10 (-2) hospitalized with 5 (+1) in the ICU. Of these patients, 7 are hospitalized at Marshall, 3 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 3 are at Barton, 2 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there is 1 available ICU beds in the county, 1 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 0 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
