Letter: Vote for Brooke Laine - she proves her commitment to El Dorado County

We are writing in support of Brooke Laine for El Dorado County District V Supervisor.  Brooke is a lifelong resident of El Dorado County, leaving only long enough to attend and graduate with a major in Economics from U. C. Santa Cruz.  Because she comes from a family that believes in service to the community, she returned to Lake Tahoe and became involved first in the family business, then in the banking industry. This was followed by terms on the City Council and as Mayor.

Brooke is also active in Soroptimist of South Lake Tahoe, a non-profit that raises money to provide scholarships and other support for young women.  The Soroptimist Club of South Lake Tahoe, with Brooke's energy and commitment, was the driving force behind the development of the first regulation Title IX softball field, the first to serve women and girls as well as regulation adult leagues and with the ability to host tournaments. 

Following the Caldor fire, Brooke stepped up and with the Celio Family at their Meyers ranch, hosted a fundraiser for victims.  Her commitment to El Dorado County will make her the best choice for District V Supervisor.
