STATELINE, Nev. - There is a medical emergency tonight at the Douglas County Jail at Stateline. Multiple agencies are en route, including Tahoe Douglas Fire, Carson City Fire, East Fork Fire, South Lake Tahoe Fire, and Douglas County and Carson City Sheriff's offices.

Multiple people have been exposed to a hazardous material, possibly Fentanyl, according to the Douglas County dispatch center, and the responding agencies are bringing as much Narcan (a prescription medicine used for the treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency) as they have available.

Staging is in the parking lot at Sushi Pier.

The first call was received at 8:02 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.

This is a developing story and will be updated as news becomes available.
