They’re back again for the second coming of Guilty Christmas. Yes, the characters from the long-running Guilty Pleasures are back in a winter show with newly updated sketches and songs in a fast-paced comic musical written specifically for the Tahoe audience, both local and visitor alike. Time has gone by since the group had served their community service together but all the characters remain. Older, (though perhaps not wiser), they are ready to get together again, and this time they are doing a Christmas show.
The show, written by Dave Hamilton and Mark D. Williams will have songs about winter driving, surviving the big snowstorm, and even a couple of songs from the past. Plus, the popular giant finale with practically every Christmas carol you’ve ever heard.
The entire cast is returning from the first Guilty Christmas reprising their roles. The cast includes Tom Callahan, Kurt Munger, Chris Taylor, Pam Taylor, Sharon Kerrigan, Anita Kelly, Joanie San Agustin, Liz Tonkinson, and Jeff Whitt.
If you saw Guilty Christmas a couple of years ago, there will be some new stuff and if you remember Guilty Pleasures, then you know just what you are in for. If it’s all new to you, that’s okay, just sit back and laugh with everyone else. It will be fun for the whole family, (though toddlers and infants may not get all the jokes).
Performances will be November 13-17, 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for general, $15 for children 12 and under
All performances are at the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre
