COVID-19 cases for South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 74 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday in El Dorado County.

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 867 cases - +6 - The 14-day new case rate is 28 with 206 per 100,000 residents.
El Dorado Hills - 3355 cases - +18 - The 14-day new case rate is 71 with 167 per 100,000 residents.

Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 772 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 28 with 298 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 867 cases - +6 - The 14-day new case rate is 25 with 173 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2952 cases - +20 - The 14-day new case rate is 56 with 153 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2847 cases - +17 - The 14-day new case rate is 78 with 221 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 237 cases - +3 - The 14-day new case rate is 13 with 125 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3672 cases - +21 - The 14-day new case rate is 92 with 304 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 812 - (+9), 795 additional negative test results, 65 assumed recoveries (14,918).

To date, 149 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were no new deaths reported today.

Six out of the 139 confirmed COVID-19 deaths occurred in fully vaccinated individuals (For the time being, this count will be updated approximately monthly, on the last Thursday of every month).

There are 8 (-4) hospitalized with 4 (-2) in the ICU. Of these patients, 5 are hospitalized at Marshall, 3 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 3 are at Barton, 1 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently, the State's website says there is 1 available ICU beds in the county, 0 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 1 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
