Wet and snowy start to the week in Lake Tahoe, but sunny and warmer starting Wednesday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Has it been wet and snowy enough for you yet? One more day of precipitation in the form of water and snow, then the system moves to the east.

The strong, and well-advertised, atmospheric river brought copious amounts of rain and snow throughout the Lake Tahoe and Western Nevada region. Expect more rain and snow until at least Monday afternoon. Flooding remains a concern, particularly near recent burn scars. Some lingering showers are possible through Tuesday as the upper trough continues its exit from the region. High pressure builds over the West Coast for the latter half of next week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.
