SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Join the Friends of the Library and Trish Tomer aka “Tahoe Trish” for a night of humor, memories, and conversation as she discusses her new book "Tahoe Local, Lessons from the High Life." The event takes place on November 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.
Trish Tomer is a Tahoe Mountain News columnist who writes a monthly column under the byline Tahoe Trish. She makes her debut as an author with Tahoe Local, a memoir of her discovery of the Lake Tahoe region and how it became her home and changed her life. With a lifetime love of writing, Trish has a passionate style and views honest, and often humorous, self-expression as a way of sharing and connecting with others.
This event is designed for those who wish to skip, and occasionally trip, your way down Memory Lane. Trish would love to have you join her for some conversation, questions, and laughter while sharing stories of how we came to call Tahoe home.
Please join the Friends of the Library welcoming first-time author, Trish Tomer as she discusses her journey to becoming the columnist Tahoe Trish, published author and long-time local.
