Tahoe Douglas Fire to have prescribed burn in Zephyr Heights

ZEPHYR COVE, Nev. - Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District will conduct a one-day prescribed burn operation on private property in the Zephyr Heights neighborhood of Lake Tahoe. They will be burning on Thursday, October 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Other prescribed burn operations will start in the Lake Tahoe Basin, perhaps as early as November 2.
