Letter: A vote For Joby Is a vote For Tahoe wildlife!

When I cast my ballot on November 8th I plan on voting for Joby Cefalu for one of the three open seats on the City Council of South Lake Tahoe. I've known and been friends with Joby for many years, and have worked shoulder-to-shoulder with him on numerous community/school volunteer situations. Not only is he a true son of our community, but his depth of love for our community is second to no one, and that love also includes the wildlife in our community!

As a board member of the TKPOA over the last two years, Joby has brought me in to not only consult but also to assist the board in transitioning to a more wildlife friendly/safe approach within the TKPOA's bylaws.

Joby and I have had many discussions about the level of human/bear conflicts we've been experiencing as a community, and if elected promises to include me to help lead the City of South Lake Tahoe on a more proactive approach to the issue.

I hope you'll join me by casting a vote for Joby Cefalu because I believe a vote for Joby is also a vote for better coexistence between the humans and the bears/wildlife of our community.

Thank you!
