Halloween activities around the South Shore start Saturday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - If Halloween is your holiday, then there won't be a shortage of activities to do around the South Shore.

Saturday, October 28

Ever After Productions and the City of South Lake Tahoe are hosting Boo Bash on Saturday, October 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. Come dressed as your favorite familiar villain and join the fun! There will be trick or treating, a Boogie Woogie dance party, horseless carriage rides from Borges Carriages, a live dance performance by The Studio, a fun hair booth, and more, including meeting the characters of Ever After Productions. The free hair booth with Sessions will have Halloween clips, hair scrunchies, fake tattoos, braids in hair colors, and glitter.

Tickets are $15 per child, ages 0-17, and $8 per adult, ages 18 and up. Ages 0-2 are free. They are on sale at Sessions Hair Salon and The Studio. A portion of ticket sales go to the nonprofit, Lake Tahoe Shining Stars.

This Halloween weekend, Station House Inn in South Lake Tahoe is throwing a 7 Deadly Sins-a themed party sponsored by Lalo Tequila. It's going to be epic! On Saturday, October 28 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., join in on seven different activities, each themed after one of the seven deadly sins. For more INFO.

Mindset, Adiios, Beatkarma, and Osiris Rex are coming to South Lake Tahoe for the annual Halloween Costume Party at the American Legion on Saturday, October 28 from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the American Legion! Zephyr Point Camp and Conference Center is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 3rd annual Spooktacular Halloween event, set to take place on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This family-friendly evening promises a spooktacular time while benefiting Zephyr Point's youth camps. Tuesday, October 31

Safe Trick or Treat for Kid at the Heavenly Village from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The shops at Heavenly Village, in collaboration with the South Tahoe Chamber, the South Lake Tahoe Lodging Association, and Desolation Hotel, are holding a free trick-or-treat event for kids, punctuated by a $1000 costume contest. Set to enchant both kids and adults, the event boasts:
• Over 50 candy stops by village businesses and various organizations.
- Entertaining activities including bounce houses, slides, and other attractions.
• Musical delights with zombie DJs and live music performances.
• A festive presence from South Lake Tahoe Fire and Police Departments, complete with firetrucks, candy, and stickers for the little ones.

Halloween Jamboree at the American Legion - The Cut, Gilwus.Docx, Porterhaus, Momma Bear, Hodgie, Limbo, DJ M, Trout Daddies. From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. $10 at the door. The event is all local performers and organizers are planning on having a food truck there.

The Loft Lounge is holding its 7th annual Halloween Bash and Costume Contest featuring DJ/Producer Groove Cartel (Cary White, former drummer for the band Infected Mushroom). The “Haunted Loft” will be decked out with eerie decorations, spooky party favors, and a DJ spinning dance music from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. The Loft will be giving away over $1,000 in spine-tingling prizes for the top three costumes that night, including dinners, drinks, bottle service, show tickets, and more!
