Deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) arrested three people on October 29 on various charges of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-year-old Robert Michael Dean, 24-year-old Dylan Andrew Mitts and 22-year-old Elizabeth Kathrine Spandau were arrested after an investigation into a theft at the Wal-Mart on Grant Way in Gardnerville, Nev.
At 1:15 p.m., DSCO responded to the store for a reported theft in progress. Three suspects left the store with an unknown amount of merchandise. When confronted by store security, one of the suspects allegedly brandished a knife, and then left the area.
A description of the suspect's vehicle was broadcast to other officers. It was located a short time later and stopped on US 395 near Stephanie Lane. During the investigation, Douglas County Deputies located evidence of the theft from Wal-Mart and drug paraphernalia. All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Douglas County Jail.
