South Lake Tahoe schools on 2-hour delay start, Zephyr Cove and Incline Village schools closed

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lake Tahoe Unified School District is on a two-hour delayed start Monday, November 7. Schools will be opening two hours later than normal times. Busses will be operating two hours later than their normal schedule. Schools will release at the regularly scheduled time. Tahoe Truckee School District schools will be open on a regular schedule. However, due to the stormy winds and visibility issues, there is the possibility of school buses being delayed.

Douglas County Schools at Lake Tahoe, Zephyr Cove Elementary School and George Whittell High School, are closed due to snow/inclement weather. All Valley schools will be open and operating on regular schedules.

In Washoe County: Incline Schools are canceled due to severe weather conditions. All other schools are on a two-hour delay due to hazardous road conditions. Winter bus stops are in effect.
