Attention children of South Lake Tahoe: What act of kindness will you do this holiday season? Children will be celebrated this holiday season for who they are and what they do, and the Suicide Prevention Network will join in by offering a special mailbox for letters to Santa.
Write a letter to Santa, telling him about one act of kindness you'll do this holiday, and in return, you'll receive a Certificate of Kindness back!
Between November 25 and December 17, letters can be dropped off in a special North Pole Mailbox located outdoors at CoWork Tahoe, 3079 Harrison Avenue in South Lake Tahoe (or at 1625 Hwy 88, Minden if you're in the valley). Make sure to include a return address - no prepaid postage is needed.
Santa and Rudolf want to thank kids for just being them. Rudolph was not always happy with who he was with that shiny red nose. That made him feel different from the other reindeer, but it ended up helping Santa guide his sleigh and save Christmas.
This is sponsored by the Suicide Prevention Network. For more on them, visit https://www.spnawareness.org/eldorado-county. They have offices in South Lake Tahoe and Minden. Or call, 775.783.1510.
