Woman hospitalized, Stateline man arrested for assault with a deadly weapon

A Stateline man was arrested on Monday following a domestic dispute which sent a woman to the hospital with severe injuries, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Christopher Drake Rogers, 43, was arrested on charges of battery with a deadly weapon after DSCO officers responded to a call of an injured woman on Tramway Drive in the Upper Kingsbury neighborhood on November 16.
During the initial investigation it was determined the female was a victim of domestic violence and suffered severe injuries, said DCSO Sgt. Pat Brooks. The victim was taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time. This case remains under investigation.
Rogers was transported to the Stateline Jail. His bail has been set at $50,000.00.
