Sierra-at-Tahoe to open for the season on Saturday

Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort announced today that they will be opening for the season on Saturday, November 26. There are early season condition on limited terrain with two chairlifts and two surface lifts in operation. Sierra will spin Easy Rider Express and Rock Garden with access to Broadway and Echo beginner trails. There will be a terrain park with small to medium features, allowing guests to get their park legs back underneath them. For now, their hours of operations are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“We’re excited to flip the switch and open the mountain,” says General Manager, John Rice. “Forecasts show possible snow showers throughout the weekend and into next week, potentially allowing us to open more trails, conditions pending.”
Kirkwood will be opening on Friday, November 25 at 9:00 a.m. They have not yet released a list of open runs.
Heavenly Mountain Resort opened Wednesday with four lifts, two runs on 14 acres of terrain. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; weekends and holidays 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
