Free presentation "Prioritizing Your Hearing Health" at Zephyr Cove Library

Learn how to prevent, diagnose, and treat hearing and imbalance disorders at a special event at the Zephyr Cove Library on Tuesday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"Prioritizing Your Hearing Health" is presented by Dr. Jenelle Sandy, an audiologist and owner of Tahoe Family Hearing Clinic in South Lake Tahoe. Specializing in pediatric and adult audiology for over a decade, Dr.
Sandy provides diagnostic services, hearing amplification, cochlear implants, and programming.

The event is hosted by Valage Senior Living at Carson Valley in partnership with Zephyr Cove Library. The Friends of the Library will be providing light refreshments.

This presentation will highlight:

• The significance of maintaining hearing health
• The vital role audiologists play in treatment
• How to identify common signs of hearing loss
• The treatment and rehabilitation options available
• The negative health impacts of untreated hearing loss
