Winter predictions from the National Weather Service to be featured at UC Davis webinar

Join Chris Smallcomb from the Reno office of the NOAA National Weather Service for a discussion on projections for this winter during the next UC Davis TERC presentation on December 9 from noon to 1:00 p.m. Over the next 90 days, NOAA's forecast models show slightly drier than normal days with chances for average temperatures, but what will that mean for the region?

Smallcomb, a Warning Coordination Meteorologist, will also talk about the predictability of weather hazards including post-fire flooding, along with how the changing climate is impacting day-to-day weather forecasting.
