Alpine County to hold public meeting on short term rentals

ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. - The public is invited to a workshop on the Alpine County Residential Short-Term Rental (STR) program on Tuesday, December 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Staff members of Alpine County Community Development will present an overview of the program, and provide residents with an opportunity to address concerns and offer suggestions to improve current standards.
Topics will include:
- A discussion of the application process, including the Business License and Transient
- Occupancy Tax requirements
- California state restrictions on the use of Accessory Dwelling Units as short-term rentals
- Violation and Enforcement procedures
