Nevada Gaming: South Shore Lake Tahoe casino gaming win up 13%, statewide up 4.83%

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,280,704,342 for the month of October 2022, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's monthly report. This amounts to a 4.83 percent increase compared to October 2021, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,221,749,941. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2022 through October 31, 2022), the gaming win has increased by 3.02 percent.
The "gaming win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.
For Lake Tahoe's south shore, the "win" revenue was $18,160,814, a 13.19 percent increase over October 2021. For their fiscal year, revenue win is up by 39.10 percent when compared to the previous period. The South Shore fiscal year-to-date is $107,901,806.
Carson Valley area casinos reported an $11,982,638 gaming win, up 4.13 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,992,295 was down 9.26 percent. The Tahoe Biltmore closed in April.
Casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County also saw gaming-related revenue in the positive, with Sparks up 14.02 percent, Reno, up 3.20 percent, and the county as a whole, up 5.24 percent.
