Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe presents check to Live Violence Free

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe presented a check for $1500.45 to Live Violence Free (LVF). During its monthly board meeting, they voted to give LVF %500 to help buy Christmas presents for the families they serve.

Then they found out it was the nonprofit's 45th anniversary and wanted to help them celebrate.

A member challenged the membership to match the $500, and that request was met and doubled.

A check was presented to LVF Executive Director Chelcee Thomass on December 2. They added an extra 45 cents on the end in honor of the number of years they've served the South Lake Tahoe community.
