Vehicle registration renewal drop-off services return to Tahoe General Services Office

STATELINE, Nev. - The Douglas County Clerk Treasurer’s Office has announced the return of Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) vehicle registration renewals being processed at the Tahoe General Services Office in Stateline.

As of January 1, 2022, the public will again be able to drop off vehicle registration renewals with payment at the Minden Clerk’s Office, the Treasurer’s Office located in the Historic Courthouse at 1616 8th Street, or the Tahoe General Services outside dropbox in Stateline.

Vehicle registration renewal processing is by drop-off only and not by appointment. The vehicle registration renewal will be processed by the Tahoe General Services Office and then mailed out.

At this time all other services at Tahoe General Services will continue to be by appointment only, there will not be walk-in services provided. Please do not make an appointment for a vehicle registration renewal. The public may conveniently drop off renewal and payment in the outside drop box at the Stateline location at 175 US-50.
