COVID-19 cases for South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - There have been 13 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths recorded since yesterday in El Dorado County. This brings the total of COVID-19 cases in the county to 17,138. The wrapup of all other counties around the lake takes place on Fridays.

To date, 175 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were no new deaths recorded today. This count does not include deaths still under investigation.

There are 7 (-2) hospitalized with 3 (+1) in the ICU in El Dorado County. Barton Hospital has 4 of the hospitalized patients, Marshall Hospital has 3. Barton has 2 ICU patients, Marshall has 1.

Currently, the State's website says there is 1 available ICU bed in the county, 1 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 0 at Marshall in Placerville. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
