Christmas Cheer in South Lake Tahoe receives $10,000 from Reno Toy Run

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - They say it takes a village, and that village came together over the holidays for the South Lake Tahoe community. Since 1997, the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs and the Reno Toy Run have been able to help make a real difference for hundreds of Northern Nevada Families in need. They now include South Lake Tahoe in their giving.

In a check presentation on Christmas Eve, $10,000 was given to Christmas Cheer, the South Lake Tahoe nonprofit that supplies food and other necessities to those in need every week.

This year the Reno Toy Run raised over $120,000 and the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs distributed funds throughout the region.

Since 1997, the Brotherhood Motorcycle Club of South Lake Tahoe has been a member of the confederation.

"On behalf of the Northern Nevada Confederation Of Clubs, the Reno Toy Run, and the Brotherhood Motorcycle Club, we are proud to present this $10,000 check, signed by Santa Claus himself, to Christmas Cheer All Year & Love Your Neighbor," said the Confederation.
