Public invited to 2025 Douglas County official swearing-in ceremony

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The Douglas County Office of Elections is inviting the community to an official swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. in Gardnerville. This event is open to the public and allows them to celebrate and congratulate local officials as they prepare to assume office. The ceremony will be held in the dining hall of the Douglas County Community & Senior Center at 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville, Nev.

As a result of the 2024 election, the following officials will be sworn in. Attendance at this event is not required to hold office and there are alternate options available to be sworn in.
