Kudos: Choices For Children thanks community for caregiver breakfast

Choices for Children hosted its 25th annual Child Care Professionals Appreciation Breakfast featuring Early Childhood Education professors Lisa Daly and Miriam Beloglovsky on Saturday, April 1 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Fifty four child care providers came together to enjoy breakfast, raffles generously donated by the South Lake Tahoe Community, and an inspiring presentation on Using Loose Parts (alluring objects that children can move, manipulate, control, and change within their play) to Support Language and Literacy Development.
Level Up your leadership skills with Tahoe Chamber’s new workshop series

Tahoe Chamber is kicking off its new workshop series “Level Up” on March 23, 2016 with Alexis Robin, an Executive Coach teaching an interactive leadership workshop, Step Up and Lead: Skills to Succeed in Business, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Tahoe Chamber Conference Room.
Work to begin on the Robert Maloff Center of Excellence

The Robert Maloff Center of Excellence plans have been approved, and construction preparation for the parking garage will begin this month.
The Center of Excellence will expand orthopedic, sports performance, and wellness services on the Barton Health campus. Individuals will work with a health navigator and a team of medical providers to develop and implement a customized care plan that integrates health, fitness, nutrition, and medical expertise.
