Over the four years that the awards program has been in existence, community participation and support has increased annually by leaps and bounds. Submitted by Editor on Tue, 10/11/2011 - 10:30amLake Tahoe casinos at Stateline continued healthy gains this summer, taking in $27.3 million in August, a 16.2 percent increase over 2010 figures for the same month, the Nevada gaming control board reports today.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $886,861,912 for the month of August 2011, 6.10 percent decrease compared to August 2010, when licensees reported a gaming win of $944,457,344. Gaming profits in Stateline in August 2010 were 23,518,599.
Boys and Girls Club Lake Tahoe Golf Classic set for October
Submitted by Editor on Fri, 09/23/2011 - 4:41pmThe 18th annual Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Golf Tournament, an annual favorite of locals and visitors, is set for Monday, Oct. 17 at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. The entire $195 entry fee goes directly to the Boys & Girls Club to continue its work with local children. Last year the BGCLT raised over $35,000 with this year’s goal to break $45,000.
Stateline casinos see 25 percent revenue increase in July
Submitted by Editor on Mon, 09/12/2011 - 7:27amGood news for South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos to report this morning. Stateline gaming establishments saw a 25.42 percent increase in revenue over July 2010 figures, according to figures released today from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Statewide casinos had an overall 3.66 percent increase in "gaming win" for the month.
