Youth girls and boys lacrosse is coming to the Carson Valley! In partnership with both the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation and the High Sierra Lacrosse League, Douglas Girls Lacrosse Club is hosting a free youth TryLax lacrosse clinic on October 24, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:30PM at Lampe Park in Gardnerville. Lacrosse is a rapidly growing sport in the West, but there are few opportunities for our Carson Valley youth.

August 29, 2020 - 9:00am Through a partnership between Carson Capitols Lacrosse and the High Sierra Lacrosse League, a youth clinic will be held on August 29, 9 a.m. at the John L. Harvey Field at Western Nevada College.

Tahoe Douglas Elks Lodge donates equipment for new lacrosse league in Douglas County
Submitted by paula on Sat, 04/13/2019 - 11:35pmDouglas County Recreation’s Youth Sports Program recently received $600 from the Tahoe Douglas Elks Lodge #2670. These funds will be used for the purchase of new equipment allow the opportunity to develop a youth lacrosse league that has never before been available to the children of Carson Valley.
Among the items being purchased for the donation are an additional goal, soft sticks, and balls.
