LTCC Coyotes host the first round of playoffs in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) women's soccer team will be hosting the first round of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) NorCal playoffs on Saturday, November 23.

The LTCC Coyotes ended the regular season as the #1 Junior College Division III team in the country with their record of 18-0-2, a spot they held for weeks. This has been the second consecutive year they went undefeated and haven't lost a game since September 2017.

On Saturday they will be hosting the winner of the West Hills-West Valley game being held Nov. 21.

2018 was a storied and undefeated regular season for the Lake Tahoe Community College women's soccer team. It was a year of many firsts.

The Coyotes were ranked number two at one point according to the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division III women’s soccer national poll. They find out today when the next national poll results are released where they ended up nationally for the season.

Fan Appreciation and Latino Heritage Days celebrated at LTCC

The entire South Shore community is invited to Lake Tahoe Community College’s campus on Friday, October 7 for several fun and free events that are family friendly.

It’s Fan Appreciation Day out on LTCC’s brand-new soccer field, where the Coyote men’s and women’s soccer teams will face off against conference rivals Lassen Community College at 2 p.m. (women) and 4 p.m. (men). Snacks, beverages, fun games, prizes, and free Coyote swag will be plentiful, so head out and see LTCC’s world-class new field and cheer on the LTCC Coyotes to victory.

South Tahoe High soccer stars to play for LTCC Coyotes

Four South Tahoe High seniors took a big step on Tuesday when they all signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the Lake Tahoe Community College Coyotes.

Natalie Reber, Stacy Vazquez, Alejandra Gutierrez and Kenya Maltese will all be in blue jerseys this fall as they hit the field under the direction of Coach Jeremy Evans.

"This is a big deal for my school," said Evans. "This is my first recruiting class and I can't wait to you to the next level," he told the recruits.

STHS grad leads LTCC soccer team to state playoffs this weekend

The men's soccer team from Lake Tahoe Community College has repeated as the Golden Valley Conference Champs, earning them a spot in this weekend's state playoffs.

The LTCC Coyotes will be the #5 seed in Saturday's game in South Lake Tahoe against Lassen College, the #12 seed. The 2 p.m. game will be played at the Community Playfields on Al Tahoe Blvd.

A win by the Coyotes on November 21 would earn them another home game on Tuesday, November 24 at 7 p.m.

Impressive inaugural season for LTCC soccer teams; State playoffs for both

The LTCC men's soccer team holds the top spot in the Golden Valley Conference with a 7-0-1 league record and an overall 13-4-3 record in their inaugural season. They will take their five game winning streak into the post-season on Saturday as they try to make their way to a state title.

The team is currently ranked #9 among the community colleges in California, #13 nationally.

LTCC Coyotes prepare for first soccer season

Soccer fever has hit the campus at Lake Tahoe Community College as both the men's and women's intercollegiate teams prepare for the 2014 fall season.
