4th annual Spring Clean

Help spruce up our neighborhoods and Keep Tahoe Clean! The Clean Tahoe Program is organizing the 4th annual Spring Cleanup to remove litter from the South Lake Tahoe community on May 11.

Cleanup begins at 9:00 a.m. at various locations around town and all volunteers are invited to a free lunch, raffle and celebration after the cleanup.

South Lake Tahoe community help needed during Spring Clean up Day

As the snow melts from this record-breaking winter, the litter and debris that has been covered up for months is starting to show. Volunteers are invited to get involved and help kick off this summer with a clean, litter-free town at the Clean Tahoe Program’s 2nd Annual “Spring Clean” event on Saturday, May 6th from 9am-noon.

Al Tahoe Neighborhood Beach Clean Up

The City of South Lake Tahoe is sponsoring a neighborhood clean up of the Al Tahoe beach area on Saturday June 14.

Meet at Lakeview Commons at 9 a.m. Gloves and bags will be provided.

Heavenly, Kirkwood resorts work on Lakeview Commons for Echo Day

Heavenly and Kirkwood resorts, through the Vail Resorts Echo program, partnered with the City of South Lake Tahoe for the third annual Vail Resorts Echo Day on Saturday, Sept. 8. Through the project, 179 resort employees, friends and family put the final touches on Lakeview Commons at El Dorado Beach, including planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, installing park benches, picking up trash, and re-distributing sand to even out the beach.
