INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The next virtual seminar of the UC Davis TERC (Tahoe Environmental Research Center) will provide an overview of the UC Davis Cannabis and Hemp Research Center’s mission to facilitate much-needed cannabis and hemp research despite regulatory challenges.

Student leaders sought for new NAMI club at STHS

Together, the students will work to end the stigma and made it understood that its okay to seek help, and where and when to find it.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of El Dorado County has spearheaded the new club which is called "STHS NAMI On Campus/Brain Health Leadership Club."
NAMI provides free mental health education and support in South Lake Tahoe

The Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation’s Speaker Spotlight Series continues on Monday, October 27 with visiting speaker Jesse Livezey, a U.C. Berkeley doctoral student. He’ll present a talk about brain physics from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in LTCC’s Board/Aspen Room, inside the library building.
South Tahoe High Students Collecting Jeans for Homeless Youth

On top of that goal, Brooke wants to collect the most jeans in the region so her school will be awarded a $10,000 grant.
