They will be in California filming again this spring and they may want to meet you and your one of a kind collection. Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the show's stars and two of the most skilled "pickers", only choose private collections so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.

Four-legged friends will celebrated at the 7th annual Peaks and Paws Festival when it returns to Squaw Valley on Saturday, August 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Village this special day set aside for pets and will be full of pet-friendly guided hikes up the mountain, specialty pet vendors, contests, flying dog show, music and more.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of Antique Archeology and stars of the television series American Pickers are traveling throughout California to film episodes for their hit show. The team be in the area in March to film episodes.

Abalone die-off observed in Sonoma County

The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) has confirmed reports of dead red abalone and sea stars inside coves along the coast in Sonoma County.
The number of dead and dying abalone is not known but reports have come from Bodega Bay, Russian Gulch, Fort Ross, Timber Cove and Salt Point State Park, beginning on August 27.
DFG biologists and game wardens have collected abalone, mussels and water samples and are continuing to document reports from the public.
