Letter: Looking for tennis players at Tahoe Paradise Park
Submitted by paula on Sun, 06/17/2018 - 3:22pmTahoe Paradise Park is one of the most beautiful sites in the region. It offers a full array of activities including swimming, stand-up paddle, fishing ,picnicking, trail walking, and a playground. Last year pickle ball courts were added and they now draw players regularly.
On the other hand, the tennis court is rarely used.
I would like to see this changed and am inviting tennis players to contact me to set up friendly matches or just to hit. All players regardless of experience or ability are invited.
I can be reached at 530-600-2079 or at acupaiuolo@pace.edu.
Kudos: City team thanks South Lake Tahoe resident
Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 11/21/2017 - 10:52amThe City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation Services Team would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to local resident Greg Siomiak for volunteering to add some sparkle to our pickle ball courts. Greg has been instrumental in the addition of pickle ball to the recreation complex amenities and helping us keep the courts in the best possible condition. Recently Greg dedicated several hours to re-stripe the pickle ball courts and they look fabulous!
On behalf of the Recreation Services Team and all of those who enjoy pickle ball we thank you Greg for your time and service to the community.
