South Lake Tahoe yoga class to raise funds for Nepal earthquake victims

Long time local resident Susan Glasson will be holding a benefit yoga class to help raise funds to support the thousands of victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal.
The class will be held on Tuesday, May 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Kahle Community Center on Kingsbury Grade in Stateline.
South Shore man helps people facing disasters around the world

Friday morning 10 a.m.: Phone call comes in to the Evans home in Round Hill, Nevada. There is major flooding in the country of Malawi and his help is needed.
Friday afternoon 3 p.m: Ryder Evans is on a plane to the African nation for at least a two week stay.
