Sports Ltd will be presenting the South Lake Tahoe premier of Warren Miller Entertainment's latest winter sports film epic, “Timeless,” in the South Shore Room at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe on Friday and Saturday night, Nov. 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m.

South Lake Tahoe resident and ski legend Glen Plake returns to screen in Warren Miller's 70th full-length feature film.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE,Calif. - Warren Miller's ski movie "Face of Winter" will be shown at the South Tahoe High School TADA Theater on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.

The school's Alpine Ski Team is showing the film as their annual movie night fundraiser. Tickets are $15 and available from any ski team member, Coach Ms. Bedwell, or at the door. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. There will be a silent auction, door prizes, and snacks available for purchase. All profits raised go to purchase uniforms and equipment for the ski team.

Tahoe Sports Ltd will be presenting the South Lake Tahoe premier of Warren Miller’s new film, “Face of Winter” at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. This latest movie of Miller's explores the fact that there are so many “faces of winter,” from your buddies you ski with, to the lifties, ski patrol, ski school, the little groms ripping around the mountain and the unknown skiers sharing the lift line with you.

Warren Miller movie comes to South Tahoe High for ski team fundraiser

Catch the Warren Miller ski film, Here, There & Everywhere at South Tahoe High's Alpine Ski Team fundraiser in the school's theater on Saturday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. so participants can enjoy taking part in the silent auction and raffle.

This is Miller's 67th feature film and takes a freeski, backcountry, big air, riding, skiing, snow and dog sled adventure through Squaw Valley, Alaska, Crested Butte, Eastern Greenland, Switzerland, Montana, Canada and even Fenway Park.

Dual on Dynamite bump contest at Sierra on Saturday

Lake Tahoe Ski Bum is hosting "Dual on Dynamite" at Sierra-at-Tahoe on Saturday, April 8. This is a dual format bump race that includes professional judges, discounted lift tickets and awards. All proceeds go to support the Sierra Avalanche Dogs.

Olympian and South Lake Tahoe Police Sgt. Travis Cabral will be once of the judges and celebrities at the event along with Robbie Huntoon, Warren Miller ski sensation and stunt skier in the movie Hot Dog, Daffy Don Ramirez, Murky Mark Watters, Flying Pineapple George Blackbern, U. S. Freestyle Team Judges, Coaches and former mogul competitors.

Warren Miller's "Chasing Shadows" showing at South Tahoe High theater

"Chasing Shadows," the most recent Warren Miller ski film will be shown at the theater at South Tahoe High on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. Besides the movie there will also be a silent auction featuring custom skis, a hotel stay, ski boots, Sierra-at-Tahoe lift tickets and STHS Alpine Ski Team sweatshirts. The public is invited and tickets are $15.00 per person.

The epic ski movie showing is a fundraiser for the Tahoe Basin Ski League leading STHS Vikings. There will also be ski industry vendors in the lobby prior to the movie to talk to the public.

"He" is Chad Houck, second year principal at STHS. Houck was recently featured in his second Warren Miller ski movie, this time in "Chasing Shadows." His first Miller highlight was in 2006 when his monoskiing was in "Off the Grid."
